I did finally eat but I'm hungry again. Do I want marshmallows? A PBJ sandwich? I really want mac and cheese but I'd wake my mom up by cooking. Hmmm...I really shouldn't even be eating this time of night :naughty:

Choose something that's already in a bag, box or cotainer. You won't wake your mom and you won't have to do dishes.

Not that I would know. :mf_rosetinted:

My mum wants me to be a cartoonist because of this:

But the thing is I wanna be a radio presenter..

Aww it's nice:thumb_yello: Still, you should rather do what you want to do:wink2: Btw, I guess it's well possible to have a job as a radio presenter and still do cartoons along the way, and maybe sell some:biggrin2:

We're gonna have the same job:naughty:

I guess it is possible to do both and even if I mess up with one I can fall back to the other, yeah we're gonna have our show together aren't we??.. The TigerClaws and MissPie Show! :thumb_yello:

:roftl::roftl: they won't allow that for broadcasting:mf_rosetinted:

We live in different countries anyway:aah:

And yeah, that's probably good, because both jobs aren't the safest I think:aah: Though with good education etc. one should be able to get a proper job at a station:naughty:

What about on Family Guy? Stewie and Brian had the radio show "Dingo and the Baby on Quahog 97.1"..

Both jobs take alot of getting a place in with and if you need a good education... Count me out! I go to a rubbish school and my grades are not exactly fantastic, my highest is about a D in Science.. :mf_rosetinted:

But what about the wonders of the internet, there's internet radio. In the future we could set up our internet radioshow broadcasting over the internet from 2 presenters in 2 different countries... Trust me with the internet it's like recycling, the possiblities are endless!! :thumb_yello:

Don't know that:aah:

Ah c'mon, for a cartoonist you need creativity and a bit of being lucky with selling stuff. (okay, I'm sure there's more, but I'm not exactly an expert on that) And for radio presenter, there are people that come from don't-ask-me-what:aah: Anyway, here we have journalist school where I'm not even sure you need A-Levels to get in and it's very good. Sth like that could well exist around yours. You need to be curious about things and ask the right questions, as well as follow other media to become a journalist, and that's basically what a radio presenter is. And then of course, you specialise. Within the station, you don't start off in the studio and all that but I guess you're informed anyway:aah: lol what I wanna say - you don't necessarily need a good school, but the right training on special skills:wink2:

Haha that's worth a try:naughty: To get experience in the job as well btw:thumb_yello:

I've been looking out on the Internet for info, and there was a site that's really good on advice, but it's in German unfortunately:aah:

Oh, if you haven't seen it then here's a link to what I mean :

http://www.noob.us/humor/family-guy-dingo-and-the-baby-radio-show/

I guess the way of becoming either a cartoonist is more or less the same as trying to be professional musician cos you need to be spotted then taken on by someone, etc.

With radio presenting, you need to go to collage (if you don't pass first time round at school) get you 1st dimpolma degree in media then you have to go to university to get your 2nd and that how most presenters start from - university radio. I think at school we're gonna be making our own radio shows in a few months, so we will have acess to equipment, etc.

Oh f*** the boy I like is online and talking to me... I want to die.. :mf_rosetinted::mf_rosetinted::mf_rosetinted:

Blimey :roftl:

I guess so, too :aah:

Aha, well it seems that's a bit more 'strict' where you live. Here the ways to get there are more various, but it's also a bit more complicated.

Oh that sounds interesting:thumb_yello:

Don't! Twill be okay!:biggrin2: I think Jonah is around as well :teehee:

It's more difficult and awkward, to get a distiction in Media is insane and to pass overall you can't fail not even 1 of the 12 units.

It okay at the moment, we're arguing over what to go and see at the cinema and he's also trying to guess what I'm gonna get him for Xmas..

Ouch, that sounds incredibly hard:aah: Not that I don't think you could make it:wink2:

Oh, cinema is nice!:biggrin2: Guessing what he's getting for Xmas...:roftl: Has he come any close yet?:naughty:

edit: lol he did? Kudos:naughty: that's brilliant!:biggrin2:

I probs won't make it, even if I got through the 1st part, without the boy I like being there I'll fail. He's my backbone, if he didn't help me I would of been kicked off the course for failing the first unit. If I was born 10 years or so earlier, maybe this wouldn't of been so difficult.:sneaky2:

Hahaha, we've decided to go the cinema another day after the arguing over to see Nativity or Avatar.. I want to see Avatar but he wants to see Nativity...

Yeah he guessed I'm getting him chocolate (A very big tube of Smarties) cos I know how much he loves sweets. He said he's getting me a Terry's Chocolate Orange, I love them!! :wub2:
