This is all on the assumption that my flights go according to plan, that my visa gets me in, that my ticket will be where it's supposed to be, that I can actually find where that is in Beirut (using my map which is in Arabic which I must remember to read from right to left and not left to right), that I can fathom out a transport system which has no bus schedules and apparently no bus stops, and get myself to the middle of nowhere for the gig - and back again in the middle of the night! I'm SO looking forward to this, even though I'm quite knackered already! Have walked MILES today! Just had a meal which cost 30,000 pounds. You'll be glad to know that's Lebanese pounds! I will do my best to report after gig tomorrow but I don't know if I'll have mobile coverage out at Baalbeck and I think my bus won't get back into Beirut till the early hours, and then drops me nowhere near hotel! The blurb I got with the ticket says no bags allowed at concert - they must be checked in to a bag deposit place. And no cameras or mobiles! Eek. Probably won't be able to wait and say hello to Mika and the others at the end, otherwise my bus will go without me, and I don't really want to get stranded in Baalbeck on my own! I think they are VERY security concious there, and last time Racha said as soon as the show ended, he was whisked away, no M&Gs after anyway.
