Christine
Here are the published songs we found that don't appear to be released yet, although I think Suzie was saying that Let It Slide (What a Day) was a 2006 demo. No One song is missing 1. Blame It On The Weather 2. Elle Me Dit (English) 3. Underwater 4. Everybody (Live Your Life) 5. The Fly 6. Want Forever 7. Kill Me On The Dance Floor 8. President 9. (Let It Slide) What A Day 10. Cry A Little 11. The Origin Of Love BIOTW was written with Doriand. Jodi Marr has mentioned the English version of EMD so she is likely a co-writer. Underwater was written with Nick Littlemore (of Empire of the Sun) and Paul Steel. Everybody (Live Your Life) is written with Wayne Hector and Stephen Robson. The Fly is written with Dan Wilson. Want Forever is written with Dan Wilson. Kill Me On The Dance Floor is written with Martin Johnson and Shea Taylor (songwriting camp?) President is written with Jodi Marr. (Let It Slide) What A Day is written with Jodi Marr and Dan Warner. Cry A Little is written with Wayne Hector and Stephen Robson. The Origin of Love worked on with Nick Littlemore and Paul Steel. Milda
We know the release date - top of the next year Whatever that means I also found out Mika worked with Swedish producer named iSHi Here's interview where he mentions Mika http://2stripesmusic.com/?p=574 So what have you been up to in the US recently? These last months I’ve been working with Shakira, Usher, Ne-Yo, Mika, Lupe Fiasco, and on Tinie Tempah’s new album – and more. It’s been absolutely amazing. suzie
President and (Let It Slide) What A Day are songs from 2006, so they can be deleted from the list. I mean, the chance of them making it to the album is lower than HMDYLM appearing on it. Edit: I have just seen your post: Here are the published songs we found that don't appear to be released yet, although I think Suzie was saying that Let It Slide (What a Day) was a 2006 demo. Yes, President and (Let It Slide) What A Day are both songs from 2006. I discovered President a couple of years ago but based on the catalogue number, it is also from the time 'Let It Slide' is, which means 2006. There are around 10 further songs Mika has co-written with others that I am aware of. I doubt they will ever see the light of day. Christine
He says he wrote with Doriand in February but the beautiful and ace songs were in January. Also about Fryars, didn't Mika say somewhere that he was writing songs with some kid named Ben that he'd found on MySpace? Someone wondered to me at the time whether it might be Fryars because his real name is Ben. I can't remember where Mika said this though.
