Mais, une chose est sûre, il y aura toujours des Solidays heureux. Et justement, rien de tel qu’un concert de Mika pour se le prouver. Parce que s’il y a un artiste qui incarne l’esprit de ce festival mythique, s’il y a un artiste qui, inévitablement, reflète et prône toutes ses valeurs, c’est bien lui. Plus tôt dans la journée, avant qu’il ne monte sur scène dans l’un de ses costumes les plus colorés, Mika a pris quelques minutes pour nous parler de cette première fois aux Solidays. Vingt ans de carrière, vingt ans de tubes, de rencontres et de tournées et, enfin, les planètes se sont alignées – alors qu’il entame ses Club Apocalypso Summer Nights, Mika a -enfin- investi la scène la plus aimante et la plus colorée de Paris. Et tu vois, assis dans un transat, micro en main, il nous expliquait à quel point parfois, tu ne peux rien contrôler dans la vie. Tu ne contrôleras jamais la météo et ses menaces de tempête, tu n’auras jamais aucun contrôle sur la circulation parisienne parfois (trop-) dense et non, tu ne pourras pas sauver les tasses de cafés qui s’éclateront au sol à 7 heures du mat’. Mais, en concert, au milieu d’une foule réunie pour partager LE moment de joie d’une journée -celui qui fera la différence- là, tu peux lâcher prise. Tu peux lâcher prise et te laisser emporter par Tiny Love, Lollipop ou encore Big Girl, You Are Beautiful. Parce que oui, pour cette première fois aux Solidays, Mika n’a laissé aucun répit aux festivaliers en enchaînant les morceaux qui depuis vingt ans, les font danser – et peut-être même oublier toutes ces petits tracas que, malheureusement, on ne peut pas contrôler. « Mika, on t’aime – le seul homme capable » Si, pendant le show, tu te faufiles dans la foule, tu croiseras quelques bouées roses fuchsia, des paillettes (vraiment beaucoup de paillettes), des shorts multicolores et surtout des gens qui dansent comme personne ne les regardait. Et justement, c’est ce que Mika a voulu voir de plus près. Est-ce qu’il s’est offert un bain de foule dès le second morceau ? Oui. Est-ce qu’il l’a fait sans filet, sans aucune sécurité ? Parce que, on ne va pas se mentir, on a tous hurlé « I could be brown, I could be bluuuuuue » dans notre chambre, dans notre voiture ou, pourquoi pas, dans la rue. Que tu aies cassé une latte de ton lit ou que tu aies pris ta brosse comme micro à l’époque, tu as forcément hurlé ces mots comme si ta vie en dépendait et, va savoir, peut-être était-ce le cas.
