Gabry74 Posted July 13 Share Posted July 13 For those like me who have seen the Bridgerton and the Queen Charlotte series, attend a concert of Mika, in the royal gardens where the series was set, is wonderful! The concert at Kew Garden in London was stunning. The location was amazing, like Mika and the band and the audience. Sometimes a plane flew over our heads and Mika laughed... One of the particularly exciting moments was when we made him soap bubbles during Underwater... He loved it! We met him and the band after the gig and... It was a magical evening. Caillean Posted July 14 Share Posted July 14 Here's my "little" review. I went to London with my family, rented an Airbnb (which was splendid btw) and did the obviously tourist things. Then the highlight of the 3 day London trip: Mika!! Kew Gardens, what can I say: it was a long walk from the train station to the entrance BUT: it didn't rain! (It was pouring all day so thank you Harrods for shelter in the afternoon). All was beautifully arranged, we had our picknick basket in 5 minutes, had a great place in the reserved enclosure for eating the picknick with a good view on the stage. Very nice crowd and the sun was shining! Mika's entrance was right on time. As always he was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. He had new costumes: a white one with some dubious plants, a rainbow coloured one which was perfectly beautiful and a silver one (he looked like a novastar)! The playlist was shared already. During Big Girl he jumped into the crowd and as always I died a thousand deaths but the people were very respectful. There was a really great ambiance, a lovely warmth, no problems at all, Mika sang perfectly pure and had a great connection with the crowd. In short: it was magic, magic, magic! To leave the venue and to get "home" was very well arranged so thank you so much to the organization. I didn't wait for Mika after the show beacause I respect the fact that he gave everything on stage already and I was feeling (but am happy for the fans who did meet him afterwards!).
