Maria Patricia
@Normajean Could you please clarify the difference between La Palma and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria? There are people who come from outside Spain and it seems to me that the search engine is not helping them much. Hero
There are 2 ferry lines running between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Grand Canaria. Fred. Olsen Express - these ferries are cheaper, but go to the port of Agaete on the west side of Gran Canaria. You would then need transport to Las Palmas on the northern tip. There are buses, depending on time of day you may need to take a couple. The route seems to be between 50 minutes and 1hour 40 minutes depending on schedules. Naviera Armas - these ferries are more expensive, about twice the price, but they do go directly to the port in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, so no island treks needed. You have to choose "Las Palmas de Gran Canaria" (Las Palmas de G.C) or you will arrive on a whole different island. There isn't a town called "La Palma" on the island Gran Canaria: 2
Maria Patricia
@Martina Josefsson Be very careful. Legal age for access to the event is 18 years old. I don't know if they allow accompanied minors. https://www.ultimaentrada.com/comprar-entradas/festival/culture-xmas-pride? Martina Josefsson
Hi Maria Patricia, thanks for this watchout! I saw this too on one of the ticketing sites, but then I figured that it would be okay if a person under 18 years is accompanied by an adult. Nonetheless I am going to write to the organisers to try and confirm it. Would be awful to travel all the way to Gran Canaria to not be allowed in
Maria Patricia
The organizer has informed me by email that the Platinum zone is a preferred zone within the Golden zone.
Martina Josefsson
I have received a reply from the organisers regarding the required age of 18 years. They confirmed to me that it is okay as long as an adult is in charge and apparently a document has to be filled out at the venue
