Carol
"that makes you look twice whenever you see a man with curley brown hair who just happens to be tall" OMG This happens to me so much!! Whenever I see tall guys with curly brown hair I say " he is cute, though " I WONDER WHY !! And ever since I know Mika I started showing off my brown curly hair (just like his curls) MUCH more . Its funny REALIZING this! Same thing happened to me! haha

Kavi
Oh wow i feel so at home!!!! GREAQT JOB!!! I'm so guilty I'm so happy that i'm not the only one living in a Mika world. I'm so totally out of sync with reality since Mika came along!!! I never use to like my hair b4 but now I'm so proud of it I'm definitaley guilty of share the Mika. Mikuent - you stop functioning like you did before you ever heard of Mika. You start performing badly (like instead of researching your hw you are researching Mika lol), reaching late because you could not turn off you CD LICM, etc. Mikabumps - Everytime anything pertaining to Mika comes up you get goosebumps from excitement. Mikanet- This I believe is where we all are. On the planet called Mikanet!! We eat, drink, sleep, dream, talk and breathe Mika. Need i say more?? Mikadepression - the feeling you have because you know you have a snowball's chance in hell of seeing/meeting Mika. Mikatube syndrome - You have seen every single Mika vid on youtube. Mikanites - people belonging to Curlyness!! All hail the God of the Curly Hair!!! Mikamnesia - caused by our obssession with Mika...which is too much for our own good, has messed up our brains and we can no longer function and remember anything else but Mika and we suffer from Mikallusion. Mikagination - the thought of "i wonder what he is doing now? wonder how he's feeling? Cause just like us, how we feel inside, it's the same with him" You guys understand what i mean right? It's like we just see other ppl, but we aren't in their shoes. Hmm from reading The Mikanictionary I realize that Mika can be used as a lot of different parts of speech... Mika as a noun - refers to the one and only HRM. Mika as a verb - "Mikacising" Mika as an adjective - "How Mika of you" Mika as an adverb - "Mikapression Blues" Mika as a pronoun - "HRM" Mika as an interjection - "OMM" I'm sorry if I repeated anything, but I'm just on Mikanet and I have Mikafingers. Sigh... i'm gonna have the Mika-ette Hangover. Wish i had Mikanology tomr but i have history Hmmm I wonder what Mika's reaction to this is...some mikalucky person should ask him. Ooo Mika...what have you done to us lol...

Scut Monkey
As The Knitters' official Carolina Dancer, I would like to add this definition: Carolina Dancing A highly specialised form of suspender-snapping microphone stand exotic dancing pioneered by Mika in his performance of Sweet Dreams in Sydney (i.e. the first video given the title of "the" video) and named after Carolina, the hooker in Love Today. Always referred to in red font. Sometimes performed late at night at Sasje's Butterfly Lounge.
JackViolet
I've been thinking of starting a thread for all our forum vernacular actually... but I think that things like "Carolina dancing" and "chicken" and "knitting" and all that belong in a different category from things like "Mikagasmic" or whatever. The latter are just portmanteau words with very obvious meanings even to someone unfamiliar with them, while as the former are an entire new set of in-speak and slang. --Jack
