tänker syndiga tankar

that should be like the motto for this thread!

xD

xD xD

no the motto should be....smutsig Mika flicka's!:

OMG!!!! :roftl:

you have no idea in how many ways that is inappropriate!! :roftl:

It's the same words as in English. But it's got a totally different meaning! Smutsig means dirty as in filthy. It could be just like "mina kläder är smutsiga" = my clothes are dirty. then it means the exact same thing as i English.

but when you say smutsig flicka... xD smutsig in that sentence is not at all interpreted in the same way as it is in English! it's VERY negative! you're basically saying that that girl is worth nothing. you might as well step on her, she's that filthy and worthless. (not filthy/dirty in a sexual way! well it could be in a way, sort of.. but still, not really. oh I'm sorry, I'm confusing you! :boxed: )

LOL!! that's soooo wrong!!

VERY!! I was  when I first read it! like totally offended! then I realised: translation site!! xD

I just ignored that bit lol

HAHA, that's why I never use them!

EVER! lol

I love that too!

I love how I can understand full sentences!

EEEE

I'm smiling too much lol

x

yes it makes me feel so smart ^^

haha noo you can never smile too much! :biggrin2:

lol Carmel about the hebrew language

just triggered something

there's a song i know called "Lo yisa Goy" or "Lay down your arms".

most of it is english but there's a hebrew verse in there. Tara Strong has sung it (she's not the original singer). Tara Strong is a voice actress, and a bloody good one too.

she did that boy in Fairy Odd Parents (forget his name), Melody in Ariel the little mermaid 2, Rikku in Final Fantasy X/X-2, Penelo in Final Fantasy XII and so much more...

Abba: dad

Saf-ta: nan
