I've never ever heard anyone say that! ever! please don't be shocked. I know it sounds a bit weird, but just to help you understand how wrong it is. smutsig flicka is something that for example a nazi during WW2 could say about/to a jewish girl. that's how severe it is. translation sites can be very dangerous and thank you for the compliment about our English skills! hmm.. we have to have it in school for a minimum of 7 years, I think. (I've had it for 9. I know I said 10 a while ago, when I was asked the same question, if anyone remembers. well.. I was trying to decide if I should use a Nazi-Jewish reference or an American-African slave one. Oh God, I know how awful that sounds! But I was just trying to make it clear how very wrong those two words are together! Jewish, cool! This may sound strange to you.. but I don't know any Jewish people at all most people learn a 3rd language aswell! you're not obliged to, but the people who don't usually have a hard time with all the other subjects and that's the reason why they skip it. and of course there are a few who's just simply lazy and don't really care about school at all.. so most people have had german, french or spanish for 3-4years aswell. but you can't compare 3 years of german (for example) with 3 years of english.
