Well I don't think many ppl get what you celebrate really and the dancing around the pole thing is pretty silly! but silly fun! (haven't had a pole for quite some years now though) yes nowadays it is basically about family, friends and eating (and sadly, drinking for some ppl ) just as long as you're with ppl you love, celebrate it the way you like, I say!
