My uncle speaks Arabic and good English. I used to talk to him via MSN and these days if I message him, he ignores me... BUT he insists on sending me long messages on my wall on facebook... IN ARABIC! Like, it's not even written with this alphabet! Lol I said I didn't understand it and he replied in Arabic! Hahaha I'm having one of those days where I just blurt everything out Is it true that it's very rare for someone to move out of their parents' home before they are married in the middle east? Habibti means darling, or sweetheart. Hey ther! My dad is Syrian (as I said when I first posted, I know nothing of the countries or culture or anything but don't feel the same things about people as my Syrian family) my mother refuses to let me know anything about that part of me thouggh so I sort of have to know from others. She's really my dad's ex girlfriend Yasmin. She lives in Baharain and she and I are still the best of friends and I trust her with my life. She likes me to think of her like a sister but I call her (as well as she calls herself) Mama Yazzy because she's adament that I'll live with her and live life like in the "arabic culture" So she's like all in one

DanaCheaib
Hmm too much tourists?? so arent there any more quite places there? No, I just don't care about the touristic places as much as tourists do cause I see these places everyday, that's why I sometimes get bored of them. But I think you would want to go more to the desert side of Dubai, I was talking about the hotel/resort stuff.. and the malls.. and the indoor skiing (It's so artificiel). But not the desert stuff, they're great, even for me.
